Pay per Click Marketing

Pay per Click Marketing or paid search engine inclusion has been around for a number of  years.

Using pay per click, you can achieve good placement in search engines despite the level of optimisation of your website. It works on a very simple basis of agreeing to bid on a search term or phrase with the search engine or its agent at a fixed fee ( a minimum of 10p ) which means that your web site is displayed often on the first page for that search. The attractive part of this method is that you only pay the fee when the searcher clicks on your website link and visits your site.

One drawback is that any number of people can bid on each phrase and it turns into an auction or bidding war, this in itself is not necessarily a bad thing and this method can still be a very effective and measurable way of spending your advertising budget.

We have a number of clients who us this method of advertising. Some companies we simply set up and started the ball rolling for them, others for whom we now handle the whole campaign on a month by month basis for a fixed monthly fee.

One example is a Travel Agent who specialises in holidays to Mauritius and the Seychelles. This client was spending around £1400 a month on newspaper advertisng and receiving no more than 2 enquiries a week. He now spends around £400 on pay per click advertising managed by us and gets up to 30 enquiries a month. He has now cancelled his newspaper adverts.
